Nevis Laboratories is part of Columbia University campus, and located in Irvington, NY. It is connected to NYC and nearby Westchester area through public transportation or by car.
Travel Options
If you are traveling to NYC by air, convenient airports include LGA, EWR, or JFK.
From LGA, one can take the M60 bus to Harlem/125th Street Metro North station, and from there take the Metro North train to Ardsley-on-Hudson station. Nevis Labs is a 10-minute walk from the station. Approximate travel time: 1.5 hours.
Alternatively, one can take a Lyft/Uber/Taxi (approximately $70-90 each way). Approximate travel time: 45 minutes.
From JFK, one can take public transportation (airtrain and subway) to Grand Central station, and from there take the Metro North train to Ardsley-on-Hudson station. Nevis Labs is a 10-minute walk from the station. Approximate travel time: 2 hours.
From EWR, one can take public transportation (aitrain and amtrak) to Penn Station station, and from Penn Station take the subway to Grand Central station. From Grand Central station take the Metro North train to Ardsley-on-Hudson station. Nevis Labs is a 10-minute walk from the station. Approximate travel time: 2.25 hours.

Accommodation Options
A limited number of rooms with either shared or private bathroom, and shared kitchen, are available on-site at Nevis Labs. Priority will be given to students, postdocs, and collaborators traveling internationally for the workshop. Please indicate your preference for on-site accommodation when you register for the workshop. Payment for on-site accommodation (at $30/night) is to be made in cash directly to Nevis Labs upon arrival.
